The big problem is that Basecamp 4. It will show your unit type and Unit ID.

Yes it still works if you know what to do - just note that it does not check any maps installed - so do not send maps twice. I just don't use it as much as I should. IMHO you do not need to clean the registry of any Garmin entry, nor do you need to remove any Garmin folders that are somewhere else then Program Files folders so far all Garmin tools are x86 and not 64 bit - it's possible this will change in future - so then also delete Garmin folder inside "C: Please specify location and exact name of file.
You can still downgrade to 4.
Installing firefox and the Garmin webupdater in crossover
Ended up deleting the Windows version of Firefox and restoring my Linux version so I could get back to here. Enter the e-mail address of the recipient Add your own personal message: Now you rename folder 4. Then Install MapInstall 4.
Hi Firefox, the web browser, you need to get the version in the windows column. That means you first have to uninstall Mapinstall 4.
Pros It helps to keep your Garmin device up to date and you must have the most current version to do so. If all is OK, proceed to the next step. Basecamp for OS x can be downloaded here: So installing Windows Firefox made no difference.
